This book was informative and proved to me that I don't like non-fiction books, even the fictionalised version. However, as I love the Shadowhunting world, I wanted to know even more. Some things were quite fascinating, others were not. Overall it was a satisfactory read, especially with Clary, Have, and Simon's comments and Clary's drawings.
Really enjoyed reading this textbook that was Clary's that she, Simon, and Jace wrote in! Really great read!
This book was really interesting and i very much and enjoyed most of it. The only things i didn't enjoy so much was certain sections that were less interesting. However, i loved reading Jace, Clary, and Simon add little things and their short conversations throughout it. It was cool to learn more things about the shadow world in terms of the rules, history and just the overall structure of the world. In Lord of Shadows you learn about the Wild Hunt and The Riders and i really wished for a section on those. But overall it was extremely enjoyable and anyone who loves the Shadow World would definitly love it.
decent, some parts more interesting than others, the illustrations were beautiful, if you're a bigger fan of the shadowhunters books you'd probably enjoy this more than I did; did read like a textbook at some points, which makes sense given the context but it still,... wasnt fun... to read.... at times..

Yeah this was super boring I'm dropping my rating to 2 stars lmao

Ein solider Thriller, der mich gut unterhalten hat. Stellenweise für mich ein bisschen zu blutig und auch etwas vorhersehbar.

i mean its exactly what i expected, its like the keepers of the lost cities handbook..
I really enjoyed this book. Readers got to delve deeper into Cassandra Clare's amazing Shadowhunter world, learning its origins, stories, rules, etc. I already loved all of Cassandra Clare's books, and this just heightened that! I would recommend this to anyone who has read any of Cassandra Clare's books!
This was an enjoyable, quick and interesting read. It's great for fans who love the Shadowhunter world and want to learn more about it and its history. I adored the comments the characters left throughout the book. It made me miss them a lot. I also really liked learning more about Shadowhunter history, about demons and angels etc. A lot of the things this book talks about we do learn through her other books, but there's a lot of new information that we didn't know before. This is definitely not a necessary read. You can read the rest of her books without reading this one.
