Full of puns, and little nuggets of wisdom. Magical and wholesome, and absurd.

This review is from my 7 year old who thought this book was the best book ever. The main character is Milo, who is a little boy. He goes on a trip and meets lots of friends and has amazing adventures. Each of his friends have a special talent...and they are quite different from regular people. My favorite character was Tock because he keeps track of time and I'm just learning to tell time at school. I really liked the part where Milo goes to Dictionopolis and gets to eat words and letters...it made me wonder what they would taste like. If you are going to read this book you should know that it's a great book that everyone should read.

I didn’t love it, but I’m going to try using it with students during our literary devices unit next year
