Není to žádná nudná postava.

Ser fram emot nästa bok i serien

The Fire Witness (English version)
Page-turner murder mystery with detective Joona Linna solving a strange case in Sweden. The case involves girls at a foster care home, a victim who has covered her eyes, and a psychic who says she gets visions of the past.

The main character was overshadowed by the other characters. I just never really connected with him. I know I have read the first couple books, so I should know his story, but I just couldn't remember. I guess I am just comparing this book/series to the Harry Hole series by Jo Nesbo, which I love. So while it wasn't a horrible book, it isn't a very memorable one (and I totally guessed what was going to happen before I was halfway through).

I am glad I was not discouraged by the 2nd book to continue reading the series and I decided to venture further alongside the sharp-witted Finnish detective Joona Linna. This book was written very well, the main keywords to this book were childhood trauma, violence and hiding. Some incidents in The Fire Witness made me really want to physically shake the officers working on the Vicky and Dante case.
It was a shame that I guessed the bad guy when I was only halfway through the book, but the fact motivated me to finish the book quickly as I wanted to know whether I was right (like Joona always is). The ending was a real cliffhanger, but I will do a small pause with binge-reading Kepler books to reset my mindset.

This is probably my least favorite book with Jonna Lina, that hasn't changed on my re-read. However it's still a fast-paced and exciting read that made me flip the pages like no tomorrow. My ebook was around 1000 pages but I read it quickly anywho.
The content in this was harder for me to read about than most others.
