A book club read that kept me on my seat the whole time. I laughed aloud. I felt like I had a front row seat to the MC loneliness, isolation, desire for love and acceptance. Reading with friends made it even more fun.

*Book Club Book of May*
Rating: 4/5
Book Club Average: 3.16/5
Genre:
😂Comedic/Satire
😵Kidnapping (dead body)
Group thoughts:
To the most part, the group enjoyed it. We all adored Stacie (Hi Meryl Streep / [redacted woman from Sex in the city that I’ll fix later]). Hated the step mom & one member didn’t love Jeremy (the rest of us are Jeremy fans, but we’re mixed on if they should get together).
Thoughts:
While some of it was a bit gimmicky, I really enjoyed it. I loved David & Stacie’s relationship & I did think he should get back together with Jeremy.
*spoilers*
However, what was that ending of him getting off the hook??? Like seriously?? I think the husband 100% was the one who gave our dead man the cocaine. He def was hiding something.
