Murder, self reflection, and unlikely best friends. Darkly comedic and suspenseful, plus a strong voice. I loved this book, it was fast paced and a perfect summer read.

Oh man…I really wanted to love this book and have been looking forward to reading it. The concept was definitely unique but the story just fell a bit flat for me. The first 25% had me cringing and just feeling bad for David. I never really got attached to him which lead the book to feel like it was dragging. The second quarter was good and parts of the ending were interesting. I would still recommend giving it a try though!
This is a smart book, something about hook up culture and the publishing industry and hiding dead bodies and hiding parts of yourself just makes so much sense when you swirl it all together.
