Why did this one take me so long to pick up. It was everything

I guess you could say I’m slightly disappointed I read this book. I’ve heard good reviews from other readers, but in my opinion the second half of the book when Bree and archer finally got together was extremely cringe. It felt like Bree was acting like she couldn’t live without him and they had only know each other like a month at that point. And they fell in love after a week? Just doesn’t seem very realistic to me. The storyline was really good up until probably halfway through, and then it seemed like the author was rushing to end the story and just write something random almost. I understand the underlying theme of the story, which is to never judge someone by their looks/past and that actions speak louder than words in the sense of a romantic relationship. I wish I had a better experience reading this!!

4.75! this book was so beautifully written. a well crafted love story that was so impactful. this book did have sad moments and left me crying twice but also had cute scences where i was giggling and kicking my feet. the characters are so memorable. the little things matter. archer hale is the best bookfriend ever. archer and hale are a wonderful couple. this book was so well thought out and truly amazing. filled every expectation. a wonderful read. would highly recommend!

I love Archer Hale!

“And try to believe that maybe more light shines out of those who have the most cracks”

I’ve never read one quote that can sum up the entirely of a book as well as this. A heartbreakingly beautiful story.
