A superhero movie in your mind. Enjoyable but just didn't grab me like the others. I plan on reading more of Cole's stuff.

Myke Cole has created an entirely believable reaction to magic appearing in the world. Like the previous books there is no let up in the pace and the excitement. The switches of viewpoint keep it all moving and it brings together all the characters of the previous books. More than that it makes it very clear how they have been changed by their experience. Recommended to all!

Great third book for this series, as we start to get more and more of the back story for some of the characters, and continue to flesh out the awesome world that these books take place in. Can't wait to see what Myke has up next.

Lots of thoughts. Some will make it into full review, some won't.
Really interesting series.

Book 2 of the trilogy was different from Book 1. So I didn't know what to expect from Book 3. Overall a well-written end to the trilogy focusing on the stories of Harlequin & Scylla while tying together the threads of Bookbinder and Britton.

My unanswered question was what happened to the breach after Scylla died? How did the goblins and Gahe get back? Or did they all die in NYC?

An exciting and satisfying conclusion to this trilogy.

Now it might just be because I’m an annoying left leaning liberal douchebag that loves magic and shit but this book grabbed me. Men in power being confronted with horror because of the horror they unleased against people, cool powers and intense decisions to be made with people fighting against forces that declared them to not be people.

This book was fun and enjoyable. I have the general complain I get with all fantasy aka I needs more people of color but that’s something I’ve sadly come to expect with books I read (one of the main characters Oscar Britton is black but I can always use more) I’m not gonna spoil anything here but with the last book out I think everyone/anyone can take a shot with these books.
