Not bad if you’re looking for something light to read. Ivy was a bit judgmental for my taste, and Roan kinda played into her assumptions for a hot minute, but I liked their relationship once they moved past that. Moderate spice with more fade to black than I had expected and a bit repetitive at times, but entertaining overall.

What happens?
Ivy is a dance student just come back from a year in Paris, she accidentally bumps into Roan and spills all over his shirt. Running away and trying to forget the beautiful stranger she bumped into she finds him chasing her assuming she did it on purpose to get him to sleep with her. She immediately changes her mind about him and is further annoyed when she finds him in her apartment when she gets back with her roommate and her boyfriend.
Roan knows he should stay away from Ivy she isn't his usual type preferring girls with a fuller figure instead of rake thin and preferring to have one night stands instead of a relationship. However something about Ivy has him hooked and he can't seem to leave her alone or get her out of his head.
Final thoughts
People on the cover don't match the descriptions in the book; I don't mind that too much but it is kind of weird. Not something I find that uncommon with these sort of romances for the models in the cover to not match the characters.
This was a good read for the most part, its not smashing it out of the park for me but I did still enjoy reading this. I was frustrated with parts that I won't spoil but it seemed very forced to try and create controversy but then it suddenly works out in the end.
I did sooooooo feel for Ivy in terms of her dad. I was so on board with her feelings I had to take a few deep breaths I appreciate the author for not sweeping it under the rug and showing an actual conversation to resolve the issues between Ivy and her dad and his family. A lot of authors seem to just wave a magic wand and its fixed, but this book took the time to show a conversation about it.
Would I read again?: Probably wouldn't be seeking it out but I wouldn't mind.
Would I read this author again?: Yes

I liked most of the story.
I did however find the main characters rather annoying.
It was an ok read, I just have read so many on the same theme that was so much better.

Stupid

I've never seen someone so stuck up even 2 chapters in her head felt like torture

I am giving this book 3.5 stars. I really enjoyed reading about all of the characters and thought the plot was well developed. It did take me a second to get really invested in the story but once I did I really enjoyed it. While I can't say this is one of my favorite books, I can say it is a fun and easy read. It will make you laugh and smile from page 1. I thought that the conflict was lacking but besides that I definitely recommend this book. If you want a fun read filled with romance and hot football players than this book is the one for you!

Characters

Ivy:

I really liked her character and could relate because I am dancer myself. While I have never dreamed about being a Prima Ballerina I have always enjoyed the art of dance. Ivy is a strong willed character who won't let anything or anyone stand in the way of her dreams. I enjoyed watching her develop as the story went on and loved seeing how being with Ronan made her get past her anger and make her a better person.

Roan King:

What can I say I am a sucker for athletic boys in books. I truly enjoyed reading about Roan and was so glad this book was dual POV. Roan has to deal with a lot of stuff that people on the outside don't see. That is what made his relationship with Ivy so special because she could see who he truly was. Roan was a funny and down to earth character that I enjoyed reading about. I mean seriously are there any football players like this at my university?

Dylan: I mean if there was a football player like Dylan at my university I would definitely date him as well. Dylan is sweet and loving and even though he didn't have a huge role in this book I absoloutely adored him. Loved him with Lexie!

Lexie: She is awesome enough said.....
