A few grammar mistakes (your/you’re, misspelling words, etc) kind of ruined this for me.
Just ok. I feel like I'd watch this as a 2 hr movie. Lots of redundancy. A bit too slice of life? The chapters from the male perspective are supposed to make you see him as a deeper character but I was constantly rolling my eyes.
Roan has been crowned the campus king. He's the star football player and a conceited manwhore. Ivy's goal is to stay as far away from him as she could get, and focus on her dancing. Unfortunately, Ivy was paired up with Roan for a class project. After being forced to spend time together, Roan and Ivy find that there is more than what meets the eye to each other. Slowly, their friendship turns to love.
This was one of the better college sport romances I've read. It was a cute, heart warming read. I caught myself rooting for their happiness the entire time. One of my favorite things about the book, was that the main characters were supporting each other in their goals, without any drama. I enjoyed the growth and development of the main characters. The main focus of the plot was their love story, which made the book come off a bit generic. It skimmed or rushed a few parts that I wish had more details. All in all though, it was a light and fluffy read. It can be read as a standalone, but there are two other books in the series.

losing a half a point for the cover and another half a point for one of the most annoying “i’m breaking up with you so i don’t hold you back” tropes i have read in my whole life
I enjoyed the growth and development between the two MCs. A dancer and a footballer are paired together in this romance and it has all the usual drama that comes with college love. I was a tad bit annoyed with the female MC, Ivy Kaster. She was a stuck-up, know-it-all, who at times I thought was selfish. There were many times I just skipped over her internal thoughts. I look forward to reading other books in this series.

A good book, I liked the characters on there own and there flirty banter and love together, but I do feel like something was missing, I also didn't like knowing roughly what was going to happen in each chapter from the little "kingofcampus.com" thing at the start of each chapter.
Over all enjoyed the book 3 stars, looking forward to the next bulldog series book.
