Oh. My. Gosh. If you’re a psycho like me and love studying about cults - you’ll want to read this book. It was serving Keith Ranerie NXIVM vibes B I G T I M E.
This was my 50th book I’ve read this year and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT.
I have been searching for a cult book and wowowowowowowoowowowo “The Order” was tremendous.
Getting to be in the minds of the characters and see how deep the indoctrination and manipulation they’ve experienced was - and subsequently seeing them step into their own minds…amazing.
I will be immediately downloading the next one.

The Order isn't what it seems...
This book gripped me from the very beginning and didn't let me go until I got to the end, and then left me wanting more.
I was right there with Imogene, even I had trouble wondering what was so terrible about The Order. It didn't seem all that bad..
Then the little crumbs began to fall that created cracks and then Rex did what he did and well now I'm left wondering what could possibly happen next and left with so many questions.
Will Imogene end up with all the guys? Will Rex redeem himself? Do I even want him redeemed after what he has done? Will Imogene find out what happened to her mother? Will Imogene and the guys end up running?
I guess the only way to find out is to wait for the second book to come out :)

This book had some pretty dark themes but it was very good! I wasn’t sure where we were going and Angel does an amazing job of showcasing different perspectives, tell a compelling story, and also causing the reader to ask introspective questions. If you liked this, I would recommend the lords of pain series.
I love Angel Lawson! She has yet to disappoint me. I find cults very fascinating. This book was very interesting and of course HOT LOL! I can’t wait for the next one!

I'm not really sure what to think about this. It's different. Cults are scary and they always seem to be run by some weird pervy bloke. Gross.
I'm hoping there is some groveling in the next book, because Rex is the worst. He's got some serious work to do.
I guess I'm having a harder time wondering why it would be so difficult for these folks to escape, if they wanted to anyway. We're told it's nearly impossible to leave Serendee, but not given an explanation why. They said Anex has eyes everywhere, but i'm still confused. Maybe that will become clearer to me in book 2?

Binge it already!
I ended staying up past 5 am because I couldn't put this book down. Angel did such a masterful job of setting the scene and delving into the mindset of a cult experience. This book gave me the whole gamut of emotions.
