I didn't love this, but it was still a good read. Lily's fight to use her acting career to fight for queer rep in media combined with her struggle to explore her own identity further when it is already very public is interesting. Some elements of Lily's journey feel weirdly like they're written by someone who is only guessing at what she's going through.
Graphic: Racism, Homophobia, Lesbophobia, and Dysphoria
Moderate: Transphobia

Like what we were trying to do here was great and im probably being too harsh but there was wayy too much describing what was happening in the game and in the show for me
‘At what point does loving something stop being enough to carry on?’

Graphic: Racism, Misogyny, Lesbophobia, and Dysphoria
Moderate: Homophobia and Transphobia
Minor: Sexual harassment
17 year old character is asked explicit questions about their sex life by a middle aged woman (this is brushed off). A Black woman is harassed offscreen to further the plot for White protagonists. MC espouses author’s weird misogynistic and lesbophobic ideals throughout.
