Decent graphics, wish the story would have ended differently!

It's a good story but the pacing is too fast (not in an action packed way but the fact that characters could have used more development) and the writing isn't amazing. This did make me more excited for the movie adaptation later this summer.

Nope. Graphic novels are not my thing.

tegningene er ok, men mafiategneserier i new york er så fulle av banning og rasisme at jeg rett og slett blir litt ukomfortabel, selv om det sikkert er realistisk

Eh, it was okay. I thought the premise was interesting but the jumping from present to past was confusing at times. Also one death in particular is just highly unlikely since it was an accident-physics don’t work that way.

A sorry tale of a spiral of self-destruction. I probably won’t read it again (which would normally land it 3 stars) but there’s something about it that rises above the norm. Film was good too.

Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: No

I don't know if there is anything I love more than ladies who take no shit from anybody.
This series is all about bad-ass, mob wives turn actual mobsters themselves. Kath, Raven and Angie all take on different aspects of the 1970's gang life and we get to watch it all unravel like an insane train wreck. I only wish it was longer so we could get to know the characters a bit better because there are so many supporting characters to this story and it got a little confusing to keep everyone straight after a while.
