I'd feel bad giving this lower than 3 stars. I think it's an okay book but I didn't care about Margaret and Michale's story. It was distracting and simply boring. I read this for the post partum depression/psychosis representation. I haven't read many books that deal with that topic. I read Die, My Love by ariana harvix, which was great and better than this.

A perspective on motherhood/ppd that I didn’t know I needed in the form of a ghost story?? Weird enough that it worked, and now I’m hooked on Margarette Brown

Won an ARC through Goodreads Giveaways!
I flew through the last half of this book. The writing was wonderful, the images vivid. I don’t believe I’ve read a book with a similar storyline. It was a bit of everything: uncomfortable, hopeful, sad, thrilling. Great read, thank you!

I really liked this book up until the end.

Especially given that Ben and Megan’s relationship was a big part of this book and then in the end it was just “like oh he might be cheating on me but it doesn’t bother me now”. It’s not a satisfactory if they would have just divorced or worked it out.
