Very boring.   Too many characters. Nothing happening.

This was a beautiful book. A story about a girl who relieves her life in different ways. Moments, no doubt, will bring you to the same scene. However, it’s slightly different each time. The main character relieving a sense that she’d been there before. How to correct a wrong, or how to keep the seemingly correct?
There is a lot of tragedy in this book and upon completion I felt a heaviness. Though, delighted by the journey this book supplied.

Liked it; didn't love it. It's hard to love a book which will have no ending, satisfactory or otherwise. I did appreciate the insight into the Blitz, and I liked it that the protagonist was not the favorite of the 5 children in the family, and that the eldest son did not fit in at all. Seemed like a realistic family. It's also hard to read a book in which the protagonist continues dying even when I knew that she would be reborn. I also wanted her to kill Hitler and then see what the world would be like after, but no such luck.

This book is very well written and entertaining, but I didn't give it 5 stars, because there are times in which the story stalls and it's hard to push through.

I did not finish this book. I found her writing style a bit nauseating. Might come back to, might not. Bleh.

SO GOOD. An absolute thrill the whole way through. I feel like I need to read it over again already. After this ending, I have a lot to contemplate.

I can't remember the last time I was this addicted to a book. It never ceased to keep my interest (obviously) and made me think a great deal. I have just finished this book minutes ago and can't find all the words I want to use. I just really enjoyed this adventure, these lives, these people, these places, the marvelous book that Atkinson has created here. 5 stars from me!

I'm not done, I'm quitting. I stopped and only my guilt is trying to get me back in it, not interest in the story or the style. Disappointing.

This books definitely allows for the possibility of some great philosophical conversations. Except for the middle where I felt it slowed down a bit, I found it very easy to read. The most "chewy" part to me was how whether Ursula was meant to get it "right" in the end (I won't mention the scenario because of spoilers). It seems as if she is headed for a nirvana of some sort because of the "feelings" she gets as the book progresses, but that doesn't seem to be the case at the end. Definitely a book that causes a great deal of reflection at the end.
