Overall, I enjoyed The Home-wrecker, and I will definitely be continuing this series.
Unfortunately, this book was a little bit of a miss for me. I sat with this review for a while because I couldn't exactly pinpoint what was the big issue with it and in the end, I just think that plotwise the book didn't make sense for me, and it felt rushed. It was a case of miscommunication, over miscommunication, and again over miscommunication, and all that, for different unrelated topics. I just think that too many plot points were put into this single book, and we were left with a lot of plot holes.

With that being said, there were some parts of this book that were immaculate. Like in all of Sara's books, the characters' development and their stories are so beautiful and emotional that you can't help to root for them and their happiness. As for the spice, you already know it was top-tier 😮‍💨

At the end of the day, I am really excited for the next one! With all the little hints we got in The Home-wrecker, I can't wait to uncover all the mysteries behind that Goode brother 🤫

Thank you Sara for the ARC!

I love a good book that strives to knock down the stereotypes around religion, faith, and sex. This story was one of self discovery and love and it was refreshing to see the characters come into their own while also dealing with life events. I’m excited for the rest of the series!

This book…. Where to begin for this book?!
I laughed, I cried, I got angry and I fell in love!
Caleb, Briar and Dean (and Abby) were an absolute delight to read about, there were ups and downs but a whole lot of love and smut! You could feel the love this polycule had for each other and Dean with Abby melted my heart a little!

Sara has out done herself once again and every time I read one of her books I think ‘there is no way she will top this’ and every single time she does!
If Sara published her grocery list I would read it but I’m eternally grateful she writes masterpieces like this!

This is definitely one of my favorite Sara Cate books! This one has a great story with a lot of feels and a LOT of spice. I actually found myself in tears at multiple points which I didn’t expect. I found myself really rooting for the 3 main characters here.

I'm sure this books will resonate so deeply with so many people. The way Caleb and Briars relationship is portrayed in the beginning of this books feels so raw and real and believable. Seeing a couple who clearly are in love but are stuck in the monotony of life, drowning in societal and family expectations and dispassionately trying to have a child... Yeah, many women felt that.
I did not care for the first book in this series so much so the amount of love I had for this one tooke by such surprise. The emotions and love between these characters was truly so good. Can't wait to see what else is in store for these books.
