I really enjoyed the layout of this book. The different pictures created with the text were enjoyable and added a whole new artistic element to the story. The characters were a little irritating at times but for the most part they were enjoyable. An interesting ending. I look forward to reading the next book.

Rereading this was such a good time. The concept and visual way of conveying information is so interesting, and every word from AIDAN is pure poetry. This book stands so close to my heart, and still inspires me years later. It’s just such a good, creative story.

I don’t know what I was expecting with this book but it wasn’t this and I hecking enjoyed it!
The way it’s written is so unique and it really kept me engaged with the characters and the plot.
Kady is plucky genius, Ezra is a romantic goofball, and AIDAN is dramatic and insane.
I can’t wait to start the next book!

If you haven't listened to this book on audio, you are missing out. I had a hardcopy of Illuminae but chose audio after hearing good things and I loved it! This story follows ex's Ezra and Kady as they try to save the fleet from a falling system. (There is load more but it'd be too much to try and put in a review.) I loved the banter between the main characters. Erza and Kady are amazing together and I look forward to seeing their future. The side characters are fun and lovable. Even the "enemy" Aidan is a new favorite of mine. This was a roller coaster that I am so glad I went on. The writing style is unique, fun and relatable.
