Ik vond het eerste deel van het boek (gesprekken tussen therapeut en schrijfster in dialoogvorm) heel leuk/interessant om te lezen. Als Europeaan is het interessant om de gelijkenissen en verschillen in cultuur waar te nemen. Het laatste luik vond ik minder, dit waren naar mijn mening onsamenhangende hersenspinsels.

a pretty straightforward study on depression. i found it a little repetitive at times, but otherwise interesting.

Uhm, I thought this was OK and had some interesting things in it at some points but I just found the author kind of annoying, which I guess makes sense but it ruined my enjoyment. Also, I don't know if it's the translation or what but I just thought the writing was not very good, which was REALLY exemplified when I started listening to Crying in H-Mart right after this and the writing in that is truly excellent and I was like 2 minutes in. Anyways, will not be reading the second one that's for sure lol.

Eh, it was what it said it was, can’t fault it for that. Would have loved more reflections rather than *just* transcripts, but an alright read regardless.
