Dark romance but also a romcom! I love this; Josh is the best kind of boyfriend, obsessed, hot, kinky, and adoring. I’d let him kidnap me any day. Aly was well fleshed out and I really believed she was a nurse unlike some protagonists. Multiple moments had me giggling and kicking my feet as well as shocked. Some things were a little go in your face like Aly conveniently having a mobster uncle. If you enjoyed butcher and blackbird you’ll enjoy this!
