This started out a little slow paced, but it picked up the pace after Jungmin arrives at the pottery shop. It also started out being from Jungmin's point of view, but toward the end, we start getting other characters points of view as well. Jungmin starts out depressed and views everything in a negative light. However, once she starts creating various pieces of pottery and getting to know the other people at the pottery shop, her perspective changes and she begins to heal.
It was interesting to see all of the ways in which the various characters lives intersected, paralleled, and merged with each other. I also feel I learned quite a bit about pottery during the course of reading this. It actually made me feel nostalgic about a coiled pencil cup I made in art class in elementary school. There is a romance element to the story, but there are no steamy scenes whatsoever.
If you're looking for a cozy slice-of-life story with clean romance, this one might be for you. Particularly if you enjoy pottery and/or writing.

It had some really nice heartwarming passages, but just the fact that it took me almost two months to get through probably shows it wasn't all that amazing.

Beginning: Jungmin had some sort of trauma happen and ended up hiding away for most of the year. Literally the most relatable things ever OMG. Art as a savior? Routine and creation as a savior! I LOVE.
Middle: Middle kind of dragged? All of a sudden, if switched focus from Jungmin to Jun and Jihye. I wish we had gotten more resolution from Jihye. HOYA AND YERI ARE MY FAVS.
End: I was surprised by the romantic ending. I love the idea of a pottery studio and cafe by the sea! I also like to think that maybe the author was the main character?
