I’m thinking there’s probably some important bits here lost in translation. The translation is a little choppy and jumps perspective without warning. It was difficult to read because of this. I also struggled to like Jungmin, the main character. She felt a little lost and all over the place. I’m sure someone else would connect with her questioning path, but her story just wasn’t for me.

First book of 2025!! (Yeah...school got me good LOL.) Anyways, this book was pretty good- I'd say it was a solid 3.75/5 stars. It's a lot more slow-paced than what I'm used to, which made reading it a bit challenging at times. However, I think there's a beauty to slowing down and being intentional with reading, especially when reading the author's dedication and  the whole premise of the novel being about finding rest and rekindling joy after burnout. (Quite applicable to my own life haha.) Anyways, this book does in fact make me wanna go to a pottery studio HAHA- not just for the end product, but for the shaping, molding, and beauty of the process that exposes ourselves along the way :)
