Listened to the audiobook & it was a fun way to pass the time on a long drive. Like watching trash TV when you’re home sick. But it was definitely written in the 90s and has not aged well.

I read this as part of a list of prolific authors I wanted to try, and unfortunately I can't say I'm a fan of Miss Janet. I know most of this is due to the book being a bit outdated, but I genuinely just didn't enjoy any of this book. I found the characters to be poorly written, I thought the story was very sexist, and I didn't care about the plot at all. I can't say I will be reading more from her, but she deserves respect nonetheless.

Is Stephanie Plum a super hero. A woman bounty hunter? She's trying to be but at least at this time in the series, times are tough and she just wants something in her fridge other than mold. Secondary characters are people you care about, too. I'll read at least one more in this offbbeat, exciting and funny series.

I can see how this series can become a favorite!
Stephanie Plum is an average lady just looking to make a quick buck (Which I think we can all relate to...) yet she goes to a ridiculous extreme that I can appreciate.
Happy I listened to it instead of reading it because the narrator does a fabulous job! Can't wait for the rest!
