**Listened to the audio book**

I can see how this series can become a favorite!

Stephanie Plum is an average lady just looking to make a quick buck (Which I think we can all relate to...) yet she goes to a ridiculous extreme that I can appreciate.

Happy I listened to it instead of reading it because the narrator does a fabulous job! Can't wait for the rest!

I read this for a few reasons. Someone recommended it and also I'm on a quest to read things I wouldn't normally pick myself. Also, I am trying *really hard* to be less of a pretentious asshole with what I read. This is *definitely* chick lit and not really up my alley. Even 200+ pages into the novel I was *still* having trouble suspending disbelief. It was so outrageous. And traumatic, tbh.

It was also waaaaaaaaaaay too straight for me, but it *did* made me laugh anyway. I highly doubt I'll read the sequels, but if I'm looking to shut my brain off for a few hours this isn't a bad way to pass the time. (And let's be honest: With the way things are politically rn, my brain is sort of stuck on a permanent off switch.) Hooray for disassociating!
