Another very enjoyable instalment in this excellent series. This time Peter Grant finds himself outside his usual urban setting and deep in rural Herefordshire dealing with a child abduction case which turns out to involve some unusual magical aspects. My only complaint about the book was it ended too quickly with a number of loose ends but it was a really entertaining read.

liked this one the least out of the series, but it was still a good read. probably a 3.5 / 5. i have so many questions from this book, and felt he didn't resolve enough of them... i know it's a series, but...
