Thank you Stephanie Garber for giving us such a Finale. I can't describe my love and passion for this series. You've given us marvelous characters, beautiful settings and a very beautiful story <3

Did i like Finale the least of all three books? Yes... Did I still devour it? Also YES.

I started this series loving the sparkling magic, mythical fantasy and burning love stories, and they've held up all the way to the end. I got attached to Scarletts pov in the first book, then started liking Tella's boldness in the second one. This book weaved their stories together in a really good way, though I would have loved to hear more from Scarletts story arc because it kept developing. There could've been more there. I loved the folklore about the Fates, (even though in Legendary I found their introduction to the world to take a little too much away from the story), here there was barely any further explanation as to any of the Fates they encountered. Some of the Fates really deserved more storytime, for they were too interesting(Hello?! Assasin!!) to skip from this series or keep their powers unused. I was not a fan of the big villian, basicly because he just got introduced this book.

I wanted the ending of this book to ache, because I loved starting this series. However, it was so tidy it did not feel as though there was anything to ache about? (except maybe all the additional posibble story arcs that were so worth of being pursued) I feel happy about the ending, but I also feel sad because I feel like the story could have been so much more.

3.5

Um was just waiting for the big elephant in the room that was just never mentioned aka Legends first love being the GRANDMOTHER? Hello? Also it took me 10 days to read so I think 1 or 2 books would have been enough.

it’s difficult to rate this book because it was split between 2 povs. i absolutely loved scarlett’s pov with julian, but tella’s pov made me wanna claw my eyes out. tbh i was kinda vibing for most of the book but they had to use time travel to solve some of their problems, and it filled me with an unbridled rage. at least im done with this series 🤞🏻

I finished this book a couple days ago. To be honest I don’t really care to do a review but here I am since I’m dedicated to finishing my reviews of the series. 😭

Gang this series is bad, like really sucks. There’s moments it could have at potential. But alas this series gets the label of another unique concept gone to waste.

For this book my thoughts were:

1. Aw man Scarlett is a narrator again for some chapters, UGHHHHHHH

2. Stephenie still really loves to be overly descriptive to the point it’s making me cringe.

3. The Fates were a wasted concept and most of them were pointless.

4. Does Stephenie have a blood kink?

5. Scarlet and Tella’s mother dying like 5 minutes after waking up from a coma is hilarious because what??

6. Tella and Legends as a couple make me wanna vom because you’re telling me everyone’s completely fine and normal about the fact an immortal being dated THEIR GRANDMOTHER and is now with the SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER?? Be so fr

7. This whole plotline with Scarlett and the Fallen Star was so fucking stupid. Felt very Sabrina Spellman finds out her dad is satan coded (from the chilling adventures show).

8. We lost so many plot lines by the end because Count Nicholas is quickly forgotten. So is Marcelo because now that Scarlett is empress you would think he’d try to get in on those riches right? After book one he is literally never seen again. And are we also not forgetting that the end of Legendary (book two) was so dumb and pointless and caused so many more problems than there needed to be?

Anyways I digress. Here are some quotes that made me cringe:

1. “I told you Tella, I’m not the hero in your story.” Okay edge lord Legend (Ch. 1)

2. “I think it’s (a key) magic and I want you (Scarlett) to have it because I think you’re magical too!” (Ch. 9)

3. “Her voice was all Scarlett could hear. It was the sound of shining lights, full moons, wishes on the verge of being granted.” (Ch. 51)

I loved this book. I really don't think this series is for everyone, but it is so whimsical and romantic! I loved it.

What a lame at the end of book.
