Really loved this duo! I read about them first in Dixon's other book Bad Guy and needed their origin story. So pleased with them.

Lord va'Rin gets props!

Not for being an asshole . . . which he tends to do. But for putting anyone in their place that mistreats Milly. It's endearing, even if he is practically a brat to everyone else. A look at Milly! She got lucky!
