I’m surprised that so many people love this book/series. It’s extremely reminiscent of the 2008 Twilight craze. The writing, the characters, the love interest, it’s all just too similar. The whole “there’s something different about him” or “I’m just a plain Jane” is a bit overdone now and I think readers deserve more than this. Where is the depth?
Maybe this is a case of it’s not you, it’s me. I guess I’m just not into that anymore. I found it extremely cheesy and physically cringed several times.
I really don’t know what else to say. I’m glad I experienced the first book because now I know it’s not for me.

Al principio me costó empezarlo pero según iba avanzando, el libro se iba poniendo mejor. Aunque este libro es uno de esos que son para pasar el tiempo y son de cotilleo y no aporta mucho más.

Jaxon, for some reason, gave me Draco Malfoy vibes if he were a vampire. I also didn't like Lia she was not my fave at all. I'm also not sure what to expect from the next book.
