okay this is my first vamp book since twilight and can I just saw why can't our girl fall for a different "monster' like give the whole vamp thing a break and they are always broody too. ugh anyways this book was decent and I am going to give book two a chance to see if I invest myself in all 6 because that is a few thousand pages! But I knew Lia was the issue from the start when Macy said she distances herself from everyone and gave Grace tea and she puked. 100% saw her from the start that she was doing something bad. I liked the twist at the end and a new thing we haven't seen written yet. We will see if I read alllll 6

is this the most amazing writing, world building, or characters I have read? No.
It is totally cheesy young adult fantasy romance? Yes.
Will I still eat this series up? Hell YES.

.5 extra porque al menos me reí de lo absurdo y tiene capítulos cortos, pero a veces se sentía como una parodia de Twilight en tachas, como que el propio libro no se tomaba en serio
hay instalove lo cuál para mí ya le quita varios puntos, pero lo peor es todo esta danza de “quiero estar contigo pero no es buena idea” y “soy peligroso para ti, aléjate, pero nadie más puede acercarse a ti” y “te trato super lindo y te doy ilusiones pero dos minutos después te ignoro de nuevo” y así todo el libro, real cada dos capítulos había una escena así

Me ha gustado, pero sin más. Es fácil de leer y es muy entretenido. Espero que el siguiente me guste más.
Honestly, it’s closer to a 2.5. It’s probably good for teenagers, but i found it to be too immature of problems, although I liked the world and the school.

It started out campy, cheesy, and endearing. Then it became unbearable. The writing is poor, the pop culture references ruin the story, and the pacing is so confusing. I won’t be reading the rest of the series. I nearly quit on book 1.
