For starters, I hate when an MC is oblivious to everything. It creates a lot of dumb conversations and drags unnecessarily the plot. There is no way Grace won’t find out that it’s a school for supernaturals which makes it zero sense to keep it from her and dance around the truth, not for half the book anyway.

Other than that, it’s an enjoyable read, especially after some heavy stuff I read before that, I just flew through it. What’s better than some teen drama in a supernatural academy? Well, something definitely is but not at this moment.

It's fine. I really like paranormal romance, which is probably the only thing saving this thing because the rest is pretty cringy and cliche. Also, the ending was annoying. Like girl, just wrap things up, no need for a cliffhanger that changes literally everything. I do like Grace and Jaxon but after seeing a spoiler for the rest of the series, I'm just going to treat this as a standalone. Let's get more vampire books though; I must say I missed them.

I don't know what hard drugs I have to be on to understand this series. It's like she forgot she needed a plot until 85% through and just went to town. This book was bad, like really bad. I don't understand how the main character has survived this long, seeing as she has the survival instincts of a rock.
