Will be purchasing this cookbook! We've tried 2 recipes so far and both of them a great. Such a wide variety of plant-based meals.

A good book with accurate but basic information. The lack of pictures was a letdown.

It's a nice book for beginners on the subject, but definitely not the "ultimate vegan cookbook".

Best cookbook I have ever owned. Ignore the fact that it is a vegan cookbook, it is still astonishing. My mother from North Carolina still saves bacon grease in a Campbell's soup can on the back of the stove, and even she keeps borrowing it to get recipes out of it. Lots of multicultural (Jewish, Indian, Moroccan, etc.) and creative recipes (Kale-potato enchiladas, vegan Cholent, Pumpkin saag, etc.).

LOVE IT! One of the best things about the Veganomicon is that in addition to awesome vegan recipes, it includes basic information about things such as cooking times for beans and grains, cooking terms, equipment, etc. A really, really awesome resource for ANY cookbook shelf, vegan, veggie, or omnivore.

Every recipe I try in here is GREAT, in contrast to the Bittman cookbook "How to Cook Everything Vegetarian." He describes basic techniques well -- roasting, braising, etc. -- but his recipes aren't to my taste.

-minus one star for not enough pictures. I need pics of food for recipes! Solid recipes I continue to use as a non-vegan.

omz, guys. So. Tasty. I'm not vegan, but this stuff is goood. And, too: the recipes are simple and actually usable.

How can you not love a cookbook from the creators of the Post Punk Kitchen. Literally every recipe I have tried was delish!

Great recipes. The ingredient list tends to assume you don't live in a world of mega-mall low-variety grocery stores, but the recipes are top-notch.

The deity of vegan cookbooks.
