i enjoyed this one, but i'm still a bit pissed at alina. but then again faced with this kind of problem, it would be pretty hard not to lose yourself. i just hope she let herself being surrounded and helped by a lot of people.

It is a good continuation to the story. I really love Nikolai. The failing to communicate trope and the Alina and Mal drama is a bit frustrating though

Now I KNOW I read this back in 2014... but somehow never reviewed it???
Anyway. Love this series! Yes, this middle book does drag a little, but I really enjoy the character development we see through these books - and the intriguing war between dark and light (see what I did there?)
Definitely a must-read for YA fantasy fans!
