Amazing read! First part is slow and big on world building but the last 300 pages you can’t stop turning the page!

In true SJM fashion this book took me on a major emotional rollercoaster. As soon as I thought I knew what was happening, a new twist revealed itself flipping the entire book upside down. This was a lengthy read but worth every single word.

Second read - all the stars ⭐️ This book is everything. I don’t know if I’ll ever love a book more. The rest of the SJM fandom can have Aelin and Feyre - Bryce is by far the queen for me. I can’t even start to narrow down what parts were the best, but Lehabah will always be my favorite. Listened on audiobook this time.

First read - 4.5 ⭐️ rounded up. So many OMG and WTF moments!! Took a .5 off for the goriness. It was A LOT and difficult to read.

AHHHHHH this book absolutely wrecked and gutted me. I spent the last 200 pages with tears streaming down my face. SJM ripped my heart out of my chest and flung it on the ground. I am so in love with these characters and story. There was never a time I was bored or uninterested in what was going on. And Bryce and Hunt...BRYCE AND HUNT?!?!?! The fact that they are friends first and have bonded through their trauma is the sweetest thing in the whole world. I don't even care that it wasn't spicy because the slow burn was WORTH. EVERY. PAGE. Shaking and crying until I can read the sequel.
