The first few chapters of the book felt like a lot of feeling instead of showing, but the rest of the book was beautifully written!

Unfortunately Yours was a fun, banter-filled ride that leaned hard into the enemies-to-lovers, marriage-of-convenience tropes. The snarky back-and-forth between Natalie and August was entertaining, and there were plenty of laugh-out-loud moments mixed with Bailey’s signature steam.
That said, the constant bickering sometimes tipped from playful into overdone, and I found myself wishing for a little more emotional depth between the characters to balance all the sass. The pacing also felt uneven in spots, with certain conflicts stretched longer than necessary.
Still, the chemistry was undeniable, and it was an easy, breezy romance that delivered laughs, spice, and a satisfying ending. A solid follow-up to Secretly Yours—and in my opinion, a step up from book one.

Overall ok. I didn't really like the two characters. I wasn't expecting August to be so dumb when I read about him in the other book. I couldn't get the cave man/Tarzan character out of my head. That was a turn off.
