the beginning was really slow for me, I almost DNF’d. I’m glad I didn’t though! It really picked up around the middle or so. Miss Tessa Bailey knows how to write a hero
hmm i’m kinda let down by this one cause it sounded like something I would really enjoy. However, my first problem was that it was very much insta-lust and stayed insta-lust throughout. Secondly, August seemed to view Natalie as a sex object first and a person second constantly. It was honestly so annoying, tiresome, and gross on his part.

Honestly the tension and spice was the best part of this book, August definitely got on my nerves more than once for simply being a man with a low IQ and no common sense. But I always love me some Tessa Bailey.
