Such a sweet story.

This one reached me on a personal level. This wasn't a novel filled with angst, boy-craziness, or teen craze. It was pure heart with love and kindness and okay, a little boy-craziness, but nothing totally making me feel all woozy. It was the friendship and the was Brashares told the inter-locking summer tales of these four teens that reminded me that there is still light in storytelling. That there isn't always fighting or drama. There's life.
I really loved this. Very glad I finally got started on it. Light and deeply needed.

Such a guilty pleasure, I love these books...

I liked this book. I would have given it a 3.5 if I could. It kept me interested, but not as pulled in as a 4 would have. The chemistry between the Sisters and how that related to what was going on in their lives made the book better. I would recommend this to people who enjoy getting 4 different conflicts at once, all in one book.

I'm tired of books that punish sexually active teens. I wish they would stop making shame seem appropriate.

I'd forgotten just how good a book this is.

Great story! I love all the girls and their stories!

4 friends will all be going their separate way for the summer. They decide that one pair of pants, that magically fits all of them, will hold them together through the summer. They will each take some time to have an adventure in the pants and then mail them to the next person.

I wanted to read something after finals that wouldn't make me think. This might have been a little too far in that direction.
