Normally I'd give this a 3.5 stars, but I can't so I'll bump it up to 4. I had some issues with it and thought it was a cop out ending. We'll see if she writes a sequel. Could be interesting.

THIS BOOK HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL.

I feel like it could be way better than it actually was. I was just so...bored. And I hate to admit that but it's the truth. Also the relationship between Cameron and Emily was so unrealistic. Like next level unrealistic.

I'm sure many of you love this book but it's just not for me! :(

3 stars.

Initially, my reaction to this book was "Oh my lorddddd, I love it", and after further examination my reaction just isn't that amazing anymore. One of my biggest peeves about this book is the "underworld" depicted in it. 26 year old Cameron runs the organisation (Is that what it's called? It's been awhile since I read it), which controls almost every crime syndicate throughout America, including the trade of drugs into America from the South American cartels and up into Canada as well. While this could be an intriguing idea, the execution is appalling and so terribly unconvincing there is no conceivable way you could ever picture there being a boss of all bosses. Also what is with the cliche bad guy names, 'rocco' 'SPIDER' (are you for real???) and whatever other ones there were.

Emily and Cameron didn't have enough time, or interaction to form a convincing love but obviously it was intended to be a fall fast, fall hard thing for Emily. Cameron's love for Emily is more convincing, but creepy once you know the history behind it. The twist had me feeling a convincing amount of emotion to rate this book 3 stars. I know it sounds like I'm bagging on it, but despite it's short falls it was a quick, enjoyable read.

PUT ON HOLD AT THE RIDICULOUS PERCENTAGE OF 13%

If I were a little younger, if I haven't read great dark books, if I haven't read other Stockholm syndrome books... I'm sure I would have loved this book.
Okay, so our MC is called Emily. And in the 53 pages I read (like 2 or 3 days in the book), I've already read like 6 times that she's red haired and with freckles in all her horrible skinny body. Ugh. I've seen several reviews and many people say that it's normal to be obsessed with this, but believe me, I've an eye of another color, AND I DON'T THINK ABOUT THAT EVERY 6 SECONDS. And I am younger than Emily.

So she was kidnapped by a weird guy (Cameron), that she've met in a brief and creepy way, for seeing him murdering someone. And let me add, she is already obsessed with him (oh yes, insta-love my biggest friend).
She wakes up from being kidnapped and she only asks things like "so, your name is Cameron?". She doesn't try to escape nor tries to know where she is. Because who needs to know where she is in a place with 3 murderers?
I read other reviews and the people who didn't like it is because it's too pink and insta-lovey. And don't care about our MCs.
Soo I don't think I'm going to finish it, I've found everything I didn't want.

Un libro que no me ha gustado nada, con estereotipos, Mary Sue y situaciones nada creíbles, lo único medio salvable es el final.

Besides a few glaring holes in the plot, this bk was hard to put down. I'm not much of a romance reader these days and that usually has a lot to do with dialogue and this bk is no different in that way. I found myself rolling my eyes but still wanted to know what was gonna happen to these people and that's always a winner for me. Will probably read the next one when it comes out.
