Fluffy, easy read with a HEA. Would’ve liked a bit more opportunity or higher stakes for getting caught when trying to hide their relationship, but I love a supportive king who communicates and loves a neuro spicy girl. That’s all.

I won't lie. I wasn't immediately pulled in - which surprised me because the entire concept of this book screamed "winner!".
But I gave it time (about 16% into the book) and it got more about the two mains falling for one another, and less about the back story (their own insecurities, self-doubts, etc). We finally got to them "matching up" and the relationship became the focus of the story. And that's when it blew up.
The chemistry between our leads is SO GOOD. It reminded me of Christina Lauren's Beautiful Player - and the ADHD rep reminded me of Mazey Edding's Lizzie Blake's Best Mistake - two books I LOVED from start to finish.
Eve has had a crush on Cole since she was a teen. Cole has always enjoyed being around his best friend's little sister. When he moves back to their small town and takes up the assistant coach position (working for her father) the sparks start to fly. Eve falls first but Cole falls harder. And when he wants something - he goes after it.
This book is full of filthy talk and lots of spice. Our mains like each other and aren't afraid to show it (and Veronica Eden keeps it coming!). They are also the sweetest characters that spend the entire time supportive of the other person. I'd classify this as friends to lovers, with no third-act break-ups.
