This is just a happy, sappy, feel-good brother's best friend romance with little to no angst. Simple as that.

Ooooh did I enjoy this book! I just thought the pacing was incredible, the tension between Eve and Cole continues even while there's spice, which is an incredible feat in my opinion. Cole is a realistic, achievable book boyfriend. Ladies, find yourself a Cole if you can. Eve is an absolute delight of a FMC, and reading a character that so beautifully captures neurodivergence was just so enjoyable.
From an enjoyment only perspective, I would have rated this a 5/5. The only reason I went down to 4.5 is because of how long they keep their relationship hidden. It started to annoy me because 1. if you're in love, why are you still hiding it. It's not that big a deal. Chill. 2. No way you sneak around that long without getting caught or someone getting suspicious.
But, whatever, I still super loved it and would recommend it anyone looking for a holiday read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this! It was a cute, fun easy read with low angst, superb ADHD rep, a delicious amount of dirty talk and no third act breakup! Cole and Eve were ridiculously cute together and he was so good for her.
