“I’ll be everything for you, sweetheart. Every fantasy. Every dream. Whatever you need, I want to be it.”

Talk about a dreamy MMC! Cole Kincaid is every girl's fantasy! I'm still swooning!

I just finished this, and it checks all of my boxes for a contemporary sports romance. Matching All the Way will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. In addition to an amazing cinnamon roll, yet protective MMC, there's

• Dual POV
• Forbidden romance
• Secret/hidden relationship
• Small Town setting
• Hockey
• Brother's Best Friend
• Spice

Not bad. Not too much conflict and a little too smutty for my liking. Felt like once they started dirty texting it was 90% sex.

Pretty cringe but whatever. Easy and quick so I'm not rly complaining

I loved this book and the chemistry between the main characters but I feel like the ADHD was mentioned too much.

I loved that this book was a standalone set in the same time period as the Heston U series. It was a different feel since Cole and Eve are a little older, both in their mid twenties. I loved that they were both still trying to find their passion after being out of college for a few years.

Cole was Eve’s brother’s best friend, the assistant coach to her father, and her longtime secret crush. Fresh off a terrible breakup, he was the last person she thought she’d run into, but it was only the first of many unexpected meetings between the two. Both Cole and Eve tried to deny their festering feelings that felt forbidden on many levels, but the more time they spent together the harder those feelings were to deny.

I loved how supportive Cole was of Eve. He made it clear that no matter how their relationship turned out, he would always support her. And Eve was just as supportive of Cole. She was the only one who recognized his need to be successful and fear the coaching job he had come to love would be ripped from him.

Despite loving the plot and the characters, this book was long. And I don’t just mean the page length. I thought the secret relationship was drawn out just a little too much. It got to the point where I was just waiting for Cole and Eve to get caught. They threw caution to the wind countless times and I was eager for the fallout. I did like the way both Eve’s brother and father handled her relationship. It fit well with the low angst storyline, I just would have like a little more of them out in the world, not hiding from Eve’s family.

This was an enjoyable, spicy read, despite the main plot (keeping their relationship a secret) not making much sense to me lol but it did make their dynamic spicier! Cole was very swoon-y and Eve was so sweet, so I was rooting for them the whole time. While I think their relationship escalated very quickly in a way that didn’t seem natural to me, I enjoyed watching it unfold and I appreciated that they had hobbies and people in their lives beyond each other. I would recommend this if you are into dirty talk and secret relationships.
