So first lemme say Jenner is FREAKING GOALS for all men!
Secondly, as a woman who has dealt with so,e fertility/preg/delivery struggles I need to preface this book with READ YOUR TRIGGERS! I will not lie to you it took me so long to read this because I felt relived my own pain through Evie’s. The plot is there the relationship and side2 characters are there and the hockey is there but I will say at least for me the main focus of this book was pregnancy/ fertility/ delivery/ adoption issues or plot related sidelines. So if that is not your jam this book is NOT for you.
I freaking love Jenner though, he definitely has the “MY WIFE” vibes and definitely thinks evie hung the moon. He’s a fabulous hockey captain and I loved several moments of the season especially at the end featuring him, he’s a rockstar of a husband and the support he gives surpasses any I’ve seen before.
That brings me to my negatives ….and this will be a little spoiler-y so I will flag this review as such.
Hot take but I don’t like Evie. I know why she did what she did but that in no way makes it less wrong. Jenner I love you to pieces but you just openly accepting her nonsense after e years….NOPE! Not only that but you would think after 4 years girl would learn when given a second chance with one of the most supportive fictional boyfriends ever written that you would be over the lack of communication and miscommunication issues. Like that was soooooooo aggravating! I wont say more than that because I feel it would give too much away but yeah that took this book from a 4 star down to a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ and because of my Evie dislike even though Jenner brought the heat to the soicy scenes I felt like Evie just kinda was there. So that took the spice from a 4 to a

This is the second book in the series, and I’m so happy it was Jenner’s story. His wife, Evie, had left him 4 years earlier, but he had never stopped loving her. Now she’s back and hoping to adopt a baby, but she needs his help. He has conditions though and the biggest one is that he be involved in their lives. Good story and a little surprise.

Frozen Heart Face Off is a story with of second chances for one of the Indy Speed ice hockey players and the love of their life. It is a lovely heartwarming book with a MMC who will do anything for his woman!
This is the second book in the Indy Speed series and it is another great instalment to the series.
Jenner Knight is the MMC in this story and he is the captain of the Indy Speed working alongside his found family and coached by his best friend Maddox Sterling. He is such an amazing man throughout everything in this book, he will give absolutely anything to get the woman he loves back and he is going to have too to quicker than expected! I have absolutely loved the dynamic between him and Evie, they truly are relationship goals 💕
Evie is the FMC and I related a lot to her, because of this it did take me longer to read this one as I needed to take breaks in between. This book deals with infertility and mental health. From having these struggles myself I could really relate to how she was feeling and the emotional toll it plays on not only you but all those around you. Evie is a strong woman who shows how she tries to over come the issues she is facing but all along with the amazing support of Jenner.
This book covers some emotional and tough areas of life and Siena Trap has wrote and dealt with this beautifully 💕

I loved this book. I loved this book. I LOVED this book. It was beautifully raw and emotional. Even though I teared up a handful of times, I absolutely didn’t want it to end. Evie and Jenner’s story is a hell of a rollercoaster, angsty, and SO WORTH THE RIDE!
I’m not going to lie, I was mad at Evie for doing Jenner how she did. I can understand her pain, but ugh, I had such resentment towards her for quite some time in their story. Jenner had my dang heart shattered. He had such a genuine, unwavering love for Evie. She took advantage of that, and ugh that even hurt me as the reader! I came around to Evie, though, and I enjoyed their rekindling.
You’ll love this story if you enjoy an emotional read involving a second chance romance, and found family (within the hockey organization for both Jenner and Evie).

Wow! “Frozen Heart Face-Off” was the first book that I’ve by Siena Trap and NO ONE warned me how emotional her books would be, in a great way!! I felt like I was going through all of the ups and downs that Evie and Jenner went through in their marriage and their second chance. There are a lot of sensitive topics addressed, including infertility, so please check the trigger warnings. The friendships became so important in this book with everything Evie went through. Jenner is such a cinnamon roll and will do anything for his love. While there is spice in their story, it isn’t the focus of the plot. I will absolutely read the next book in the Indy Speed series.

This was my first book of Sienna Trap and it will definitely not be my last. This book brought me through so many emotions, continously. The strength of these character(s) is realistic and the sass throughout was real. The characters felt like friends. I laughed and cried with them/for them.
It's exactly what I needed to read.
My heart was full while reading and my eyes were burning & hurting with unshed tears in my eyes during this book at times; it was so real.
The mental aspect of feeling like your body is broken I could understand.
I myself never struggled with fertility, but I have so much empathy towards those that do. My heart goes out to those that want a child and can't make their dreams cone true, for ANY reason. I feel I did learn from this book in many ways.
I loved the perfect amount of spice that was put into it too! I finished this book way too soon....probably because I didn't do the laundry, dishes or life stuff I needed to, until it was over. It was so good!
