Admittedly I’m childfree so this book really rubbed me the wrong way from the first chapter.

I had to stop when Evie came back in and lied about being married to her husband to manipulate everyone into giving her a baby. That is just horrific and gross. Making your whole identity about a baby is wildly toxic for everyone, including the baby, involved. I checked other reviews and it didn’t seem to get any better after that point. I love a supportive man like Jenner, but Evie was not it for me.

Love it, this story was so nice. I don't read a lot of sports romances, but this one touches my heart. It was good from beginnig to end, and I love the characters oh so much. It's definitely a book I would recommend to anyone to read.

Frozen Heart Face-Off is a second chance romance dealing with a swoon worthy MMC. Evie (FMC) and Jenner (MMC) are struggling with infertility, and Evie feels like it's all her fault. She walks out on Jenner when it all becomes too much. Four years later, Evie has a plan to start a family and flies back into Jenner's life so Jenner comes up with a plan of his own - get Evie back, no matter the cost.

This was my first book by Siena Trap, and I really enjoyed it. There was a good amount of spice without feeling like it took over the plot. The book was beautifully written and navigated difficult subjects with finesse. If you love a good hockey romance, I would definitely recommend this cook.

Infertility and the struggles that come with it are a huge part of this book, so please read the trigger warnings before starting.
