This. This is what I love most about Anyta Sunday... Banter, clueless sweetness, slow burn...throw in fake boyfriend trope and I've got five stars and possibly my favorite book of hers. Love!

I don't like the miscommunication trope. This one tried to mix that with humor. It walked a fine line between 'lmfao this is hilarious' miscommunication to 'hmmm maybe talk' miscommunication. I don't like books with public confessions either.

The characters were nice. Really nice. I would like my own Owen and Jason. They were adorable.

cute pero meh y la forma de escribir es rara y nunca llegó a entender bien lo que quiere decir la autora, es como que estuviera all over the place y me confunde

this final installment (for now) in the signs of love series didn't satisfy me in the least and i didn't care enough about the main couple to be charmed by all of the miscommunication and obliviousness. i found the writing style to be quite choppy at times, especially during the first sex scene, and in general there was some weird phrasing here and there. moreover, all of the family drama was not adequately resolved in my opinion and the ending was too rushed.

I adore the Signs of Love series and I was waiting for the last one, Sagittarius Saves Libra for a long time. So I am very sad to say that for the most part, this book just left me feeling bored.

Maybe part of that was that my taste in book has changed over the years since I started the series.
I usually adore the light hearted and somewhat silly books by this author, the feel-good moments and shenanigans, and the lovable and oblivious characters. But this one I found a bit too unbelieveable.

I just don't believe the entire twin switcheroo scenario. No way that would work on any level - especially with one of them being a world-renowed pianist and the other one having last taken lessons as a child.

Of course things don't go as the characters expect, so the scheme doesn't go smoothly, but still, simply that they thought it up this way... Not even the usual sweet moments and lovely characters could distract me enough.

It still is a sweet romance and I bet many other people would enjoy it. But this book has taken a long time to release because the author said themselves that it just wouldn't quite work, and several iterations were needed to get it done. And maybe that shows a little.

I received an ARC and reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

3.75 stars. A bit chaotic at times, but very cute. Jason was an adorable mess (I did have a bit of a problem seeing him as a disciplined professional musician) and Sergeant Owen Stirling Sir was a veritable dreamboat. The ending was a bit abrupt though. I would have liked to see more of Jason interacting with his mother and some kind of epilogue to it all. The book is oozing with sequel material in any case, both with regards to Alex and to Carl.

This took me 400 years to read but it was still cute and fun. Not my fave in the series, but fun!
