Cute read that did a good job staying light and refreshing despite the main character’s struggle. Loved the nice little twist towards the end! Also good to see a different kind of representation for the leading man.

Despite the main plot being an HR nightmare, this book was really great overall! I went in with zero expectations, so the fact that they said “let’s Parent Trap our bosses” and the bosses threw down that Uno Reverse card on them was hysterical.

The burn & build up in this is very slow, but also maybe our FMC should’ve waited more than 5 weeks after getting dumped by her fiancé to start up something that was immediately serious with someone else? I appreciated her therapist for calling her out though.

I do kind of wish this had been dual POV though, just because at times it felt like we only got to see Russ at surface level. Even then he was the epitome of an amazon MMC, so I would've liked to know more of his internal thoughts & feelings.
