I think I need to admit that I'm too old too revisit the books of youth that I missed by not reading much as a child. It's hard to enjoy the childish style without the nostalgia.

I loved this book so much as a kid and it really holds up. Just a sweet story about selflessness and helping a friend in any way you can.

A very lovely children's book.

Loveable characters, nice setting, good writing, good story. Obviously I am not the target audience, but I still enjoyed it.
