As an adult, I am delighted with the universe Sagar has created. The writing is undoubtedly for a younger audience, but the story is original, unexpected, and captivating. I can’t wait to read the following books in the series (with tea and cake, of course)!

This is fast paced, which I liked.
The protagonist is great albeit reads older than she is.
Heavy on the found family aspect and believing in/loving yourself.
Absolutes loveddddd the tea witch aspect, would 100% love to be a tea witch.
The twist was predictable (as an adult), but definitely a great read for mid grade or even younger.
