I am only 100 pages in so far and I love it! Another fantastic hit for Cassandra Clare!
Rating: 4.85*
I was planning on finishing the TMI series first before I start The Infernal Devices but after reading so much about how it is better to read these two series by publication order I finally decide to read Clockwork Angel.
First thing I want to say is that I had no idea what this story was about, I only knew it was before the TMI and in London so I went to this book completely blind when it comes to the story and I have to say that Cassandra Clare surprised me a lot in a good way.
One of the factors that made enjoy this book a lot was not being constantly hating on some of the characters (that happens in TMI- Clary and Jace) and that way I was able to enjoy the book a lot more. Another thing I really liked was the story line, I thought it was very
interesting and engaging in a way that I couldn’t put the book down and I think that Cassandra Clare did a really good job with the story.
When it comes to the characters there wasn't anyone in particular that I really liked or disliked. Tessa sometimes annoyed me a little and I think Will wasn't very present in the story which I think it was good because if the opposite had happened I wouldn't have liked him and I think he is a lot like Jace. The character I liked the most and I’m more curious about is Jem, I really enjoyed reading is parts and I want to know how he is going to influence the story.
Overall and loved the book and I’m 100% sure that this will become one of my favorite trilogies and finally Cassadra Clare made a fan of hers in the 5th book I read.
