interesting story, very engaging, a little too crazy
This was good over all, but slightly confusing. There’s a lot of stuff going on, events are repeated over and over again, characters change unexpectedly, that leads to plot holes. I found myself asking when did these people change? The ending kind of fell apart for me.
In this creepy and twisty novel, Wilder, an awkward teenager, finally makes friends when his family spends the summer at their seaside cottage. Unfortunately, the trio uncover a horrific truth that will forever change their lives.
This was not for me. Well written psychological horror, just not for me.

Loved this book! I will read anything Ward writes. Her writing is just gorgeous and heartbreaking. This is a trippy and unique story. Really loved the characters.
Tried multiple times but kept putting this book back down. Maybe it's just the wrong time or mood, but was not feeling it.
