A fun wistful adventure that ends on a high note! Showing despite having gone through hell and back, hope will prevail even if it’s not in the way you expect it. Does have a slow start but picks up about a third of the way through!

- a lot of plot holes 
- the characters make decisions that are not understandable or logical
- a love story without really knowing each other

I thought I'd give this book a try but I really didn't like it. For someone who studied history, the author didn't do a good job at writing a political medieval story. It just feels like a version of a book that shouldn't have been published yet because it's unfinished.
