I love this series so far. I can't wait to read it to my kids when they're older. The stories are adventurous and magical, and the characters are clever and lovable.

We listened to this with the kids and they loved it! I am creating big William Joyce fans over here. I love the reader of this series. My husband does not. Looking forward to the next one on audio for another trip in a few weeks.

The beginning felt slow, but once it started to pick up I really enjoyed learning more about each character and the introduction of Bunnymund. I would say it has average writing and the story isn't mind blowing, as I felt for the first book, but it's really an enjoyable read and the characters really make this for me.

As with the first book in this series, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It seemed to incorporate more mythology this time and other references that were clever and very fun (similar to the Percy Jackson series and Narnia at times). I really hope Pitch isn't gone forever. I really love his "tragic" backstory that we never really got to learn from Rise of the Guardians. There are 2 more books in this series so Pitch had better return.
