This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. The ending shocked me to tears and I’ve reread it over and over since.

kept me pretty hooked on the mystery and wanting the reveal! a lot of self loathing from the main character, but also some complex situations and realities to deal with. trauma, dealing with loss, etc. a nice, easy read.

The author's craft is so deliberate and well-executed in this book. Twisted and bizarre narrative. I thought it was a wild ride. I can imagine the agent selling this to the publisher, "It's literally a summer beach read about rich East coast kids. What could go wrong?"
