Wow! I didn't know what to expect and having not read any Bradbury before, I was a little worried that the pace of the story would not keep my attention. However, I had seen this book recommended on so many fall reading lists so I decided to check it out. The book happened to be free on audible and I figured that the short story format would keep my interest piqued.
I had an incredible time listening to this book! The prose was descriptive and compelling. Each story crafted their own little world that I could be immersed in for 30-45 mins. Some stories were definitely more interesting than others. My favorites were 'The Next in Line', 'The Small Assassin', and 'There Was an Old Woman'.
I definitely recommend this book to first-time Bradbury readers and veterans, alike. A perfect book to jump in and out of during spooky season as the need for cozy macabre tales arises.

Not enjoying this one. It's his early work and it's just not as good. The first two stories were OK, but I'm kind of forcing myself to return to it. I have a stack of fall picks I'd rather read, so this is a dnf for me.

me gustan mucho los principios de ray bradbury y bastante poco todo lo demás
